♥ Power -Star Rating ♥

In the age we live in, it isn't possible to live without electricity even for a few hours together. Both public and private concerns try hard to meet the increasing demand of electricity. Electric power is generated by thermal, hydro-electric and nuclear plants. Despite all this, the total power requirement couldn't be met. This is due to the high usage of electric and electronic devices. Both at home and in offices, the number of devices running on electricity has gone up rapidly.

Till 15 years ago, electricity was required only for electric lights (during night) and fans . As per the current trend, electricity is required round the clock. Electric heaters are used in bathrooms and in kitchens the power requirement is as that of a mini factory. A kitchen is occupied by mixers, grinders, electric stoves, electronic pots and more. In addition to this, many devices at home like Air conditioners, TV, music systems, radios and mobile are all operated by electric power. The condition is similar in commercial offices and factories. This has led to an increase in generation of electricity raising environmental concerns. Several environmental organisations and countries have raised a voice against this. In this scenario, countries thought of saving fuels.
